Clowder has done it — after many attempts, the clan has successfully cleared the Braewood Citadel. The accompanying image captures the countless dungeon runs and world-event participation that went into gearing up and preparing the team for this end‑game raid. Their persistence, coordination, and careful preparation paid off.
Watching Clowder develop and execute a clear strategy was one of the highlights for the dev team. Braewood Citadel was intentionally designed as a long-form encounter — a 1–2 hour raid if you follow the correct tactics — to reward planning, communication, and on-the-fly problem solving. Clowder took time to iterate on builds, refine positioning, and coordinate cooldowns, then executed their plan with precision. Their run is a great example of how strategy and teamwork can overcome some of the toughest content we’ve produced.
As developers, we were cautious about steering BetterPvP toward a dungeon‑crawler/MMO direction. Seeing Clowder — and other clans — experiment with different builds, strategies, and tactics has reinforced that choice. Community-driven problem solving and the return of deep, strategic play in the clans scene are exactly the kinds of experiences we hoped to foster. Congratulations to Clowder, and thanks to everyone testing, adapting, and pushing the game forward. The dev team is excited about the long-term future for clans and looks forward to supporting their growth and evolution for years to come.
