It looks like it may have something to do with chunk loading.
Literally no reason for people not to be able to place blocks, it's stuffed up. Mykindos is looking for something but theres honestly no way they could have avoided this.
Many chunks were struggling to load for some reason so this could definitely be it.
When you first load a chunk it seems you can place, we think it might be something to do with streamline
Hey atleast we stuck to the tradition of not getting the server out on time! xd no flame flame off
why the fuck do you blame everything on streamline? if they are that bad why dont you change hosts??? lmao.
Can't change hosts instantly, and we obviously had no idea that this would happen with them
There is zero reason that Streamline would have anything to do with this. While they can have a lot of Minecraft servers per node, there should be more than enough disk I/O to allow for simple chunk loading.
Brushing this off as a Streamline issue when it clearly isn't seems unprofessional.
instantly? you have been blaming streamline since 99.
and blackknight is right.
I am not saying the chunks aren't loading properly, i just said that you could place as soon as they were loading, but now the streamline cant even be started. It makes sense for it to be streamline which is why we are thinking thats the reason, No wonder the test server could place blocks as its not on streamline.
It's Working now
Correlation does not equal causation. Just because a trait is observed between one variable and not the other does not mean that it's the cause.
I really like your tone, makes you sound cool. At this point we were willing to think of any possibility, we tried many other things and this made the most sense, and since everyone wanted an update on the situation, we just let them know the most likely cause. Don't take it too seriously!
While I get that you had good intentions, I just didn't believe that the cause you narrowed it down to was the correct choice.
It seems everything is fixed now at least.
There were 100000 wrong choices and one right choice, so very sorry
Well, in the end it ended up being world corruption, and if i didnt see your post i wouldnt have tried putting a backed up version of the world on
