The data collected isn't very broad as we didn't have a lot of things we could track, however we plan to gather more data from different things for Season 2.

Don't hang up your Elytra's just yet, a new season is on the horizon! We are happy to announce the launch of Season 2 of BetterPVP.
We are making a few small changes in regards to our network host.
The American host will be switched from east to west coast, this will help players outside of the United States receive a small ping drop. This will also help the Australian playerbase since we have merged the 2 servers on our network as we think this is the best move for a stable playercount for the Aussies.

Timezone release dates are as follows:
Central - 7:00pm
EDT - 8:00pm
PDT - 5:00pm
AEST - 10:00am

Hello once again everyone! I hope everyone has enjoyed Season 1 of BetterPVP as much as we've enjoyed providing you with a quality clans experience.
With Season 2 being under a week away it means it's time for the chaos that is End Of The World.

The following changes will be enabled at 8pm EST Monday until the network goes offline at 12AM Wednesday EST

• TNT protection is disabled
• Supply crates give roughly 64 TNT

Use the left over fragments you've earned over Season 1 to practice cratering those enemies or power clans that have given you nothing but trouble, this is your time for some sweet revenge!

Stay safe out there, the end of the world can be a dangerous place.

The staff team and I couldn’t be happier with how things are going with the network. The feedback we’ve received from you all has been nothing but positive and I can speak for all of us that has made the endless hours of hard work we have put in worth it. Our American server is maintaining a consistent player base, in fact in the last day or two we’ve seen a considerable jump, peaking at 106 players on Monday evening. Considering this is only the beginning I think this is a very positive sign for what’s installed for the future. But that doesn't mean we are going to stop here.

There are already many cogs turning behind the scenes that we believe will make this bigger and better than ever. Our primary focus right now is content and player base growth. Without giving away to much, we have plans to add new features in the coming months that will add...

BetterPvP is releasing it's Australian server this Friday on July 17th

Finally after all these years the ice hidden deep under the Lake has begun to melt, causing a celebration of Polar bears to wake from hibernation. These Polar bears are extremely aggressive and hostile due to having their sleep disturbed. They share a bond so strong that when they are within 15 blocks of each other they deal insane damage, so keeping them as far apart as possible would be the smart move.

Both Doris and Boris have 1000 health each and can both spawn a set of minions.
Boris is the father, he is extremely territorial and can summon snow golems to help fend off enemies from his den.
Doris is the mother, she is highly protective of her family. When dropping to around 500 health she will spawn her cubs who will passively heal her, dispose of them quickly otherwise if she regenerates to full health she will...

It has been quite sometime since we've been able to offer you a clans experience but that has all changed.

In the coming weeks/months we will be actively attempting to convert the existing clans plugin by @Mykindos to 1.16 and add as much new and exciting content as we can.

4.01 (Changes made during Season 1)
- Reduced velocity of fishing items so they don't go flying past you
- Fixed /log so it doesn't automatically rejoin
- Disabled natural monster spawns in claims
- Changed voting crates to a left click instead of right click (will re-enable them when I can monitor it)
- Made agility helmet deal small damage instead of none
- Fixed a bug with lapis at fields
- Fixed a bug that allowed you to use skills while polymorphed
- Made it so you cannot teleport to boss arenas if you have protection
- Fixed a bug that was preventing enemy of clans (the system thought we were all new players, but we've been around for a while)
- Added a small energy cost when you initially use void
- Made the bats from Swarm a little quieter
- Reduced duration of shock effect from Swarm by 20%
- Made it so Boris & Doris deal no knockback
- Increased health of Doris' cubs by 50%
- Fixed bee farming? Works for me on test but it also did before
- Reduced overall mob...

Hey everyone just me again, this time announcing our first ever YouTube competition. We saw a lot of players creating all sorts of different content for Season 1 which we all found to be entertaining and enjoyable (some cringe-worthy) and thought why not run a competition to give back to the content creators in our community.

Requirements:

• BetterPVP included in the title of the video
• Discord link + Server IP and Website in description of the video
• 3 minutes minimum per entry

What are looking for:

• A video we consider to be above all others submitted in terms of raw gameplay (kills, highlights, moments etc)
• Something that makes your video stand out from the rest
• A series of videos would probably be more favoured

Rewards:

• YouTube rank network wide
• VIP rank for 1 month
